Church bells ring.
The spotlight shines on Easter Candle burning bright.
In devotion to the Glory of God, worshipers pray holding lighted candles in packed cathedral on Easter Vigil.
The priest lowers the huge candle into the baptismal font and lifts it out after invitation prayer, the litany of saints and prayers to God for blessings. The choir and whole church sing in joy.

The Elect are called by the Grace of God. They publicly renounce Satan and sin and profess faith. Clothed in baptismal garment, they step up toward the baptismal font in front of the altar to be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. As the priest pours the water on their heads, all sing in divine harmony.
